The client is a big provider for campaign management solutions for print letters and online. The context of the POC was to verify the “State of the Art” solutions for Big Data, Real Time (Lambda Architecture) Non Structured Data, and Hadoop.
Complexity: A view versions of an existing and not compatible versions of the campaign management will exists at the moment. Several individual solutions should be transferred in a client driven over all data model for complex analysis.
Based on the concept die C-Level of Arvato has decided to establish a project with an amount forecast of 1.2 MIO Euro to follow up the recommendations. This is the base for the new central data store of the campaign management for the Bertelsmann Group.
